Return & Refund Policy

Overview
The Art Kids (TAKs) supports Sellers in providing a return and refund policy for Buyers.
This policy outlines the general principles for returns and refunds of transactions conducted on the TAKs platform.
Eligibility for Returns and Refunds
Buyers are eligible for returns or refunds in the following cases:
The product received is defective due to production errors.
The product is damaged during shipping.
The product does not match the description provided by the Seller.
The Seller is unable to fulfill the order after confirmation.
Return Request Conditions
Buyers must submit a return request to the Seller within 7 days of receiving the product.
Products must be returned in their original condition, unused, and include all original accessories (if any).
Clear photographic evidence of defects or discrepancies must be provided to the Seller when making the request.
Refund Conditions
Refunds are applicable when:
The product is returned successfully and confirmed to be defective or incorrectly described.
The Seller fails to deliver the product or cancels the order.
Mutual agreement is reached between the Seller and Buyer.
The refunded amount will cover the product value minus any agreed-upon shipping fees if applicable.
Return and Refund Process
Buyers must first contact the Seller via TAKs messaging or the Seller’s provided contact information.
If no resolution is reached within 7 days, Buyers can escalate the issue to TAKs support by emailing support@theartkids.co.uk, including order details and evidence.
TAKs will mediate the dispute between the Buyer and Seller and propose a resolution.
Once a resolution is confirmed, refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days via the original payment method.
Return and Shipping Costs
If the return is due to a Seller’s fault (production error, wrong item, shipping damage), the Seller bears all return shipping costs.
If the return is due to the Buyer’s change of mind (where accepted), the Buyer bears the shipping costs.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally non-returnable unless defective or not as described:
Customized or personalized products.
Digital downloads or digital products.
Perishable goods or time-sensitive products.
Each Seller may specify additional conditions in their individual shop policies.
TAKs' Role
TAKs acts as a mediator in disputes but does not directly guarantee refunds unless otherwise specified in a written agreement.
TAKs reserves the right to warn, suspend, or restrict Sellers who consistently violate return and refund policies.
